Account and Data Deletion
Last updated: May 20, 2026.
This document explains how a user can request account and personal data deletion.
At launch, account deletion requests are handled through support. If self-service deletion is added later, it will appear in the app or account area.
Deletion Request
A user can request account deletion by contacting support@calotec.app.
The request should include:
- The VoiceBar account email address.
- Reasonable verification that the requester owns the account.
- Whether the request is for full account deletion or deletion of specific information.
What Will Be Deleted
Subject to applicable law and retention obligations, we will act to delete or disconnect account data from active systems:
- Account information.
- Associated devices.
- Active access permissions and access records associated with the account.
- Active sessions.
- Usage data that can be directly associated with the account, where no retention obligation applies.
What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained where needed for:
- Legal obligations.
- Fraud and abuse prevention.
- Billing and refund management.
- Dispute resolution.
- Service security.
- Limited backups until scheduled deletion.
VoiceBar may retain only the minimum records that must or reasonably should be retained for legal, accounting, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or compliance reasons.
Local Information on the User's Computer
Information stored locally by the application or on the user's computer is not always automatically deleted by deleting the server-side account.
Local information may include transcript history, correction learning, user preferences, technical logs, and the usage-reporting queue. The user can delete local information through the application or operating system, depending on available features.
Audio and Transcripts
VoiceBar does not store audio or transcript content on our servers as part of normal service operation. Therefore, there is usually no server-side audio or transcript content to delete after a deletion request.
Revoking Google Access
If you signed in with Google, you can revoke VoiceBar's access to your Google Account at any time at:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Response Time
We will aim to handle deletion requests within 30 days after account ownership is verified, subject to applicable law and limited retention obligations.
